Hotshot Trailer Dimensions
Also called: hotshot trailer, gooseneck flatbed, hot shot
A hotshot is a heavy-duty pickup truck pulling a gooseneck flatbed trailer, typically 20 to 40 feet long. It carries less weight than a semi but is faster to book and often runs single, time-sensitive loads.
Hotshots are common for expedited partial loads — parts, smaller machinery, oilfield and construction supplies — where a full-size flatbed is more truck than the freight needs.
